Spend time at Paten Park Native Nursery painting and learning about Australian native plants.
Local artist, Lesley Kendall, will guide you through a series of easy exercises with watercolour and ink showing techniques she uses in her own work. You will then get to do your own drawings and paintings with Lesley’s guidance.
The class is small and limited to 8 people. Beginners are welcome to come along.
A volunteer from the nursery will talk to us about butterflies and their host native plants in our gardens - this will be the inspiration for our workshop.
Morning Session 9.30 am – 12 noon (1 spaces open)
Afternoon Session 1 p.m. - 3.30p.m (class is FULL)

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. We will be sitting around the big table where the volunteers meet . It is a covered area but it is open to the nursery so please bring along something warm to wear, in case its cool. It is lovely to look out onto all the plants. If it is raining we can move inside.
